But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Since our start in 1997, we have believed that children are a vital part of church. We do not believe in just babysitting children. We want children to have the tools to live a christian life in this world. We started our children’s ministry in a garage with five children, and in January of 1998 we started our bus ministry with a Kids Explosion. We have bused in hundreds of children since. Needless to say we love children here at Gospel Ministries.

Pastor Mark Starnes, our Children’s Pastor, along with his wife Amy, and a long list of workers, hold KIDS church on Sunday mornings at 10:30, and KIDS Clubs on Wednesday evenings at 6:30. Our classes start at the age of 3 and we hand them off to U-turn Youth group at 7th grade. Sunday mornings we have Kinder Church for ages 3-6 and Kids church for ages 7- 6th grade. Wednesday evening we have a Preschooler class for ages 3- 4, Kindergarten class for kindergarteners, Primary class for grades 1-2, Middler class for grades 3-4, and Preteen class for grades 5-6.
